Fits all standard step ladders

  • Tired of balancing your tools on narrow steps, only to knock them off?
  • Sick of hanging buckets etc off hooks?
  • Frustrated you can't climb high enough because you walk into a wall?
  • Do you have to put your ladder sideways to the wall to work?

STABILAD ELIMINATES THESE PROBLEMS AND GIVES YOU SAFER OPTIONS

  • 400mm x 300mm tray to place things on safely
  • Keeps you 400mm off the wall allowing you to lean towards the job, not away from it
  • Gives you more surface contact, damage free with more stability against walls
  • Allows more stability while ladder folded

COMMON DIFFICULTIES:

Where do you put your tools at the top of the ladder?

How do you keep tools close at hand?

Toolbelts are one option, but it is tiresome and can be dangerous removing and replacing tools into the belt. It is not practical to place larger tools in a belt. The temptation is to place toolss on the narrow rung. Dangerous to those below and tiresome climbing up and down to retrieve fallen items.

STABILAD provides a 400mm x 300mm platform to safely hold your tools in between use. No more balancing tools, paint etc on narrow steps or hooks.

Where do you put your paint when working up a ladder?

Commonly, hooks are used. The can is held at an angle. Paint is frequently spilt. The worker has to lean to the side to replenish their brush. It is dangerous to hold even a small can with one hand, applying the paint with the other.

STABILAD provides a large level platform to safely hold your paint at the top of the ladder, handy and central to the worker. One hand for yourself, the other for the job.

STABILAD provides a platform to hold your paint. No more hooks!

Working height is reduced when the top of the ladder rests against the wall. The worker has to lean out, causing back strain and adding to the possibility of a fall.

A longer ladder may be an option, but this adds to the problems and difficulties of use.

STABILAD keeps the top of the ladder 400mm from the wall, allowing you to lean towards the job, not away from it. You brace your legs against the ladder. Your upper body is not stressed and is comfortable.

Leaning out leads to backstrain and greater potential for a fall.
Only two small areas of the ladder may be in contact with the wall leading to possible instability and damage to the working surface STABILAD gives you more surface contact, prevents damage and gives more stability against walls. No need to tie rags etc. You are not waiting for the ladder to move because of lack of contact with the wall.

To get close to the wall with the step ladder on its four feet you may have to place the ladder sideways, leading to an uncomfortable and potentially dangerous working position as you twist your body and put the weight on one leg or the other as you work. STABILAD provides more stability while the ladder is folded. No need to open the ladder sideways to the job, standing on one foot and twisting the upper body to work

Ladder safety is important. Be safe on your stepladder
